Candace Parker and Sheldon Williams - Married Professional Basketball Players Couple

Sheldon Williams and his wife Candace Parker are like most married couples with the exception that husband and wife are each professional basketball players. Sheldon Williams at 6'9" and 250 pounds is currently a large inside presence for the Boston Celtics while his wife and the mother of his daughter is arguably the best women's basketball player in the game today (possibly ever) as a 6'4" impact player for the Los Angeles Sparks.

Williams, born on October 21, 1983, is about three years senior to his wife Parker who was born on April 19, 1986. The two standout athletes were married on November 13, 2008 and had their first child together on May 13, 2009. Lailaa is the name the couple chose for their new baby girl who is unquestionably expected to be a stellar athlete in her own right.

Mom Joke

Both Sheldon Williams and Candace Parker were prominent collegiate basketball stars who played for storied college basketball programs. Williams was an exception key member of the Duke University Blue Devils while playing in Durham, North Carolina during his college years. When Sheldon left Duke in 2006 he retired from the iconic organization with school records for both rebounds and blocked shots. Williams, like his wife, was a First Team All American selection in college.

Candace Parker was a star for the University of Tennessee Volunteers, a team that is noteworthy for being either the first or second most accomplished women's college basketball program (tightly contested debate for the top spot with the University of Connecticut). Candace Parker is perhaps best known by casual followers of the WNBA as being only the second women to dunk in a WNBA game and one of only a handful of women to ever dunk in a women's college game. At 6'4" and 175 pounds the athletic Parker is such a versatile player that she was listed on the Lady Volunteers roster as a guard, forward, and center.

While Parker grew up in the Chicago area (Naperville, Illinois) and Williams hails from Oklahoma City the two spend their time together in whatever cities they can. During his brief NBA career Sheldon Williams has played on teams based in Atlanta, Sacramento, Minneapolis, and Boston while his wife has remained on the Los Angeles based WNBA team during her time in the league. The NBA season begins in October and ends with the NBA Championship series in June. The WNBA season on the other hand begins in May and concludes with a championship series in September. Although this sort of scheduling and time on the road is difficult for a young marriage with young parents Sheldon and Candace are confident that their situation is both a unique and healthy one for their relationship.

A couple of fun facts on the White House

There's an old joke about President Taft, who was very overweight. A boy was talking with his mother at breakfast with an ocean view. He said: "Mom, can I go swimming?" She smiled and replied. "Not now, David is the President of the Sea."

Each of our presidents had a favorite food. Taft was a man, while FDR liked ham Welch Rabbit, a concoction of cheese to spread on toast. I am sure that President Taft would have loved that. Now that would behave added to its scope.

Mom Joke

George W. Bush loved Huevos Rancheros or "farm eggs," which for my favorite Mexican dish, although I can get away without it happening for about 1 week.

When Taft was big, Lincoln was tall. His mother said that when he was even bigger would stain their whitewashed ceiling. Lincoln is a couple of guys who were gathered barefoot in the mud, and had them "walk" on the ceiling. The mother thought thatwas very funny, but Abe had to paint the ceiling.

If a lady sitting in the top hat Lincoln said that all he had to do was ask and he said he would not fit.

President Washington's Portuguese Water Dogs dog of President Obama, our presidents have been part of the dogs. Perhaps you remember a few rebellions Presidents and their dogs. Mrs. Roosevelt took mutt Fido, on a military flight from kicking a soldier. President Lyndon B. Johnson dropped from the Bassetholding their ears. Johnson said that was fine for Basset.

Dog Johnson was knocked down and killed on the basis of the White House. (Where was the Secret Service?)

Herbert Hoover alligators grown son in the White House.

George Washington, the third president of the Continental Congress, was the first to be called, the President of the United States. It approved the Great Seal of the United States. He was not elected by the people.

Jimmy Carter was the first president to beborn in a hospital. President Jefferson stopped and started shaking hands, bowing as a greeting. He was very intelligent. President Kennedy said, there was a group of scientists and other scientific manner, which took the largest gathering of great minds from President Jefferson, in his study alone.

Four of our presidents have been assassinated, Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield, William McKinley and John F. Kennedy. There have been attempts to Andrew Jackson, Truman, FDR, Ford and Reagan were.Reagan was seriously wounded and it was a miracle that the doctors in the position to him were saved.

Some of our presidents had miraculous powers. George Washington was said to cure leprosy. Lincoln was said to disappear from a cow in his hat. Hmm!

Now we know that our president can change things or make them disappear.

George W. Bush took the Clinton surplus disappear.

Obama has been our impression that he was intelligent disappear.

Aspiring John McCain chose Sarah Palin as hisrunning mate and done away with the presidency. (The latest rumor says that Sarah Palin has her breasts are much larger.)

What happens if Sarah Palin decides to run for president and wins the White House? Her husband will be the First Lady? The night-show, praising God, and we all have a lot more fun.

Fly Old Glory!
